Ornamental Strawberry


This low-growing ornamental strawberry is commonly grown as a groundcover, border, or edging. Found in the wild in coastal North and South America, it spreads is lustrous deep green leaves by runners forming a compact matt to 4-8 inches high. Small white flowers in spring are occasionally followed by bright red fruits in fall.
