Green Fescue

 

This clump forming perennial grass has very narrow, stiff, green to blue-green leaves. Narrow open panicles bear purple-tinged spikelets of 4-5 flowers in mid-late summer. Can withstand dry conditions and severe frosts. Tolerant of constant cutting, this plant can be grown as a lawn grass.
