Blue Fescue

A cool-season, clumping, evergreen grass with narrow, luminous leaves of silver-blue. Plants form tidy mounds, larger than most Festuca glauca cultivars, and send up silverish-blue flower stalks in spring that mature to a amber color. Use as a ground cover or edging. Longer lived than other Blue Fescues. Drought tolerant once established, but may turn brown in the hottest part of the summer.
