False Aralia


These fast-growing, tropical-looking plants love humidity but are quite tolerant of drier air. They are useful near swimming pools, for a patio, as a container plant or as a houseplant. Leaves are divided into 7-11 leaflets; shiny dark green above, reddish below and maturing into stiffer, less glossy leaflets. Clusters of greenish-yellow flowers are followed by small spherical black fruits.
