Candle Delphinium, Candle Larkspur
A truly exceptional perennial landscape plant for providing spikes of deep-purple flowers in late spring, summer, and sometimes into fall. Pleasantly-shaped, lush, deeply-lobed leaves give rise to crowded spikes of flowers up to three inches across with the largest flowers opening at the bottom and the smallest at the top. Often thought of as a cottage garden plant, delphiniums could be placed in almost any California landscape.
