Bearberry Cotoneaster

 

This outstanding ground cover has dense, trailing branches, rooting along the ground, and holding bright glossy green leaves. White flowers in the spring are followed by bright orange-red berries that are enhanced by purple-tinged fall foliage. Good on banks, as a groundcover, or cascading over walls.
