Smoke Tree
This dramatic long-lasting unusual shrub or tree is best planted in groups, in a shrub border, or as a specimen. Naturally multi-trunked but can be trained to a single trunk. Roundish leaves emerge purple and gradually turn green in summer and mature to glowing orange and purple in fall. Attractive rich purple "smoke puffs" come from clusters of fading flowers.
