Smoke Tree
This dramatic long-lasting unusual shrub or tree is best planted in groups, in a shrub border, or as a specimen. Naturally multi-trunked but can be trained to a single trunk. 'Golden Spirit' has roundish leaves that emerge lime green in spring and turn golden yellow in summer then bursts into a spectacular show of orange, coral and red in fall. Attractive purple "smoke puffs" come from clusters of fading flowers.
