This colorful hedge specimen or container plant has a upright form with dark green slightly downy foliage, very similar in appearance to C. fasciculatum but with bright crimson flowers. Blossoms appear spring through fall, nearly year-round in mild climates, and are followed by red-purple berries. Best in a warm sheltered spot.
