Dusty Miller

 

Commonly grown for the felted, silvery-grey foliage, this Dusty Miller has compact growth with broadly rounded, lobed leaves in basal clumps. Small, yellow or pink, solitary flower heads appear in summer. Remove flowers before blooming to maintain shape, or trim back after bloom. A perennial, but often grown as an annual. Cultivars vary in foliage characteristics.
