Ceanothus maritimus is a tidy groundcover that requires little maintenance. It has small compact blue-green to greyish leaves, typically white or grey beneath. 1/2" clusters of white to pale lavender flowers bloom in early spring. 'Point Sierra' is more tolerant of interior heat.
