This sedge forms dense fine-textured clumps of arching narrow pale silvery green foliage usually 1-2 feet long. Hair-like 'curls' occur as the blades die and curve back toward the base of the blade Small green flower spikes rise on 2-foot stems in summer. Best used in shade.
