This shrubby, mounding evergreen succulent perennial has fleshy grey-green elliptic-shaped foliage and tall slender stems supporting brilliant magenta satiny cup-shaped flowers that appear to be floating above the foliage. Foliage is larger and more grey than Calandrinia spectabilis. Most effective when massed.
