Boxleaf Azara
This dainty large upright shrub or small tree has a fountain-like shape and flat-branching habit making it useful as an espalier or free-standing wall plant. Tiny shiny roundish dark green leaves are neatly arranged on the branches. Yellow flowers in late winter smell like chocolate to some and like vanilla to others. Flowers are followed in summer by orange-red berries.
