Kangaroo Paw w/ Dark Red Flowers

Kangaroo Paw is an herbaceous, rhizomatous perennial with flat, dark green, strap-shaped leaves that fold at the midrib. The brilliantly colored flowers are tubular and often fuzzy. The unique flowers split lengthwise into 6 segments at the tip resembling "claws". 'Red Cross' is a good strong grower with tall, multi-branched burgundy stems topped with rich dark red flowers.
