Kangaroo Paw w/ Orange Flowers

 

Kangaroo Paw is an herbaceous, rhizomatous perennial with flat, dark green, strap-shaped leaves that fold at the midrib. The brilliantly colored flowers are tubular and often fuzzy. The unique flowers split lengthwise into 6 segments at the tip resembling "claws". 'Orange Cross' is a strong, adaptable Kangaroo Paw with tall, reddish-orange flowers.
