Kangaroo Paw w/ Bright Red Flowers

Kangaroo Paw is an herbaceous, rhizomatous perennial with flat, dark green, strap-shaped leaves that fold at the midrib. The brilliantly colored flowers are tubular and often fuzzy. The unique flowers split lengthwise into 6 segments at the tip resembling "claws". 'Big Red' has large, bright red flowers on tall stems. One of the easiest to grow and most adaptable of the Anigozanthos.
