A large aloe to 8-9 feet tall with dark grey-green leaves and 2-3 foot tall upright branching inflorescence with dark red flowers. This aloe typically branches at the base but can have a solitary trunk with very erect stems if crowded. Said to be a naturally occurring hybrid between A. ferox and A. arborescens.
