Blue Lily of the Nile
This evergreen perennial forms a fountain-like clump of arching strap-shaped leaves. Deep blue flower clusters bloom atop tall erect stalks 1 1/2 feet above the foliage. In colder areas this agapanthus makes a good container plant, but in milder winters it adds yearly color accent in outdoor beds.
